Who am I?
Moving into the fitness industry was a natural progression for me after a diverse (and on going) sporting career.
I was very active when I was growing up, trying my hand at Competitive Swimming, Gymnastics, Tae Kwon Do, Football, Cricket, and eventually finding my calling with Rugby Union.
I played junior rugby at Devizes RFC and also represented Dorset & Wiltshire at U14, U15, U16, U18, and eventually for their 1st XV.
I left Devizes at 18 to play for my home town of Melksham. From there I moved to playing in National League 3 South for Chippenham RFC, before being offered a professional contract with Henley Hawks in National League 1.
Injury forced me out of rugby during my second season with The Hawks. After surgery and extensive rehab I decided to try MMA at my local club, Dragons Lair MMA, as a way to get back to fitness. I fell in love with the sport and have never looked back. Now I regularly train with the likes of Bradley Scott (UFC), Chico Mendes (Checkmat BJJ head of Europe), Ronnie Mann, (Bellator, Cage Warriors) and James Thompson (Pride FC, Bellator).
As it stands I am undefeated as a professional with a record of 3 wins and 0 losses, I have a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and I wrestle for the Esmaeli Wrestling Academy.
It was during my injury rehab that I discovered my passion for helping people. I felt a great deal of appreciation and admiration for the physios and trainers who helped me get back to sport. This led me to studying Sports Therapy for two years so I could follow in their footsteps and help as many people as I could.
The therapy course offered an extra curricular PT qualification which I jumped at the chance of completing. I found my calling with Personal Training and am now in my third year of helping people improve their lives with health and fitness.
